Our unique ANPR speed camera measures the instantaneous speed of all vehicles as well as reading the license plate. It does this by employing an integrated radar sensor and then encoding the speed as a small barcode at the top of the captured image. This technique ensures that the speed data is always paired with the correct vehicle image and can be verified manually, even years after the event.
Our speed cameras have been in continuous use for over a decade and are designed to ensure that they expose number plates correctly under all lighting conditions. This TrueANPR technology ensures your system will work 24/7 and will not be defeated by any combination of ambient light and vehicle speed.
Simple Set Up:
The speed sensor is factory set and requires no calibration or setup during installation. The sealed camera connects to the supplied local junction box which offers instant camera setup. Just zoom the camera with the IN/OUT buttons and the camera will automatically autofocus and store these settings. Then just use the rotary infrared power control to set the exposure and you’re done.
Setup for the optional plug-in colour overview camera is identical and, if you choose the white light version, you can adjust the strength of the visible lighting with the rotary power control.
Optional Colour Overview:
Our ANPR cameras produce perfectly exposed plate images under all conditions. If you need a colour images of each vehicle then just add one of our optional plug-in overview cameras.
Our overview cameras require no additional power or signal cabling and they fit on the same mounting bracket as the ANPR camera to form a neat assembly. They feature a fully motorised zoom lens with pushbutton control from the camera junction box.
The standard overview provides colour pictures day and night but, when there is little ambient light available, just choose the white light version which has its own built-in LED support lighting.
